This project involved the design and construction monitoring of a 12m high single storey 1800m2 warehouse. The structure consisted of perimeter precast concrete panels, steel portal frames and shallow foundations. Post-tensioned slab-on-grade was proposed to support heavy storage racking and forklift loads. The precast shear walls were designed to cantilever in the fire cast to avoid intumescent paint for the steel portal system.
